Kalimpong Gangtok Pelling Darjeeling

DAY 01ARRIVAL NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORT - KALIMPONGFirst the inevitable : Reach at  NJP Railway Station or (IXB) Bagdogra Airport or Siliguri Town  you will be directed to the Kalimpong.  The most convenient way to get around Kalimpong is in Dzire or in Innova vehicle from Siliguri Car Service.

DAY 02 KALIMPONG - GANGTOK A short drive to visit Flower Nurseries, Durbin Dara Hills & Jang – Dong - Palriffo Brang. Next essential destination is Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 85 Kms / 03 Hrs). Check in at Gangtok hotel  Overnight stay  at Hotel.

DAY 03 GANGTOKOn your third day the major destination of Gangtok is T-Changu Lake - it's situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft,  Baba Mandir  - another very popular destination for tourist, its a memorial & temple honouring Indian army soldier for the folk hero & saint Baba Harbhajan Singh.  Last but not the list is the destionation  for this day is Nathula Pass - the pass at 4,310 m above sea level is connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region  its a inspirational spot no one visitor can afford to miss it, end of the day return to the hotel at Gangtok, stay for the Night at Gangtok.

DAY 04GANGTOK - PELLINGThe Next major interesting  and domination part for visitor is Pelling. On the way you can stop to visit the Siddeshwar Dham (Chardham), the Jotirlinga and four dhams and again drive to Pelling. stay at your Pelling Hotel for the Night. 

DAY 05 PELLINGif you'are keen on seeing the natural beauty of  Pelling then drive to Yuksom (5840 Ft / 1780 Mts, 35 Kms / 02 Hrs) on way visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water fall & Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), itis one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird & Kanchanjunga Water fall. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling and Overnight at Hotel

DAY 06 PELLING - DARJEELINGDown the spectacularly beautiful road of 125 kms you will be in  Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts, 125 Kms / 5 Hrs). Check in and Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 07 DARJEELING The biggest attraction of Darjeeling is Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) need to be wokeup at 4:00 am to witness of a spectacular view of sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate OR visit to Rock Garden & Ganga Maya Lake. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 08 DARJEELING - NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORTPreserve your memories and the magical momenets and leave the place for onwards connection.
